Posters, Posters, Posters!
For the Typographic Systems class students were to take ordinary receipts and translate them into two very different posters. These poster are a large format and vertical. The idea was to take an ordinary piece of design that we interact with almost every day and explore the nuance of the type on it, and what it means and why it is the way it is and after that try and get a completely different take on it. The importance of this assignment was trying to find meaning in the little details of the receipt and more importantly give structure to type to communicate a clear visual message.
